Construction diary
After 50 years of operating the Königsgarten indoor swimming pool and almost 40 years operating the Sternbusch water park, in 2011 Bäderbetriebe Kleve hired pool renovation specialists to look into the renovation and remodelling requirements of both pools. The results of the study by the specialist firm were presented to the newly-established "Pools Working Group". The task of the working group was to develop a concept for the future of pool operations in Kleve based on the results of the study. The group was to come up with a recommendation for the political bodies that would meet the future requirements of a modern, needs-based, ecological and economically-viable pool in Kleve that would also provide leisure facilities. With this construction diary, we offer you the opportunity to take a closer look at the progress of this interesting project.
